Northeast Ohio Autism Group (NEAOG), is holding a free informational presentation about autism and current findings in autism research with Thomas Frazier, II, Ph.D, Director of Research, Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism. It is on Wednesday, June 23 at 7:00 pm in the Coe Conference Room at Lake Erie College, 391 W. Washington Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
Dr. Frazier will be speaking about understanding the diagnosis of autism; Brain abnormalities and what is known about structural and functional changes; Genetic abnormalities and the causes of autism that are starting to be known; Treatment points including early intervention, social skills, behavioral treatment of irritability and aggression and quality of life improvements; and Research participation opportunities through CCCA.
It’s a great opportunity for anyone with interest in the area of autism, whether it be family, caregivers or professionals.
